Andrew Weisburd


Andrew Weisburd is a non-resident fellow for the Alliance for Securing Democracy at the German Marshall Fund of the United States. For the last 16 years, he has provided training and expert services to elements of the US intelligence community and select non-governmental organizations. His areas of expertise include leveraging open sources of intelligence, the use of the public internet by a broad range of threat actors to further counterintelligence, counterterrorism, and criminal investigations. Weisburd holds a bachelor’s degree in information systems management from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and a master’s degree in criminology from the University of Illinois Chicago.
