Biography

Donara Barojan is an assistant director for research and development at the Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRLab) at the Atlantic Council. In this capacity, she analyzes online disinformation campaigns worldwide with a special focus on disinformation surrounding elections. Ms. Barojan also leads DFRLab’s efforts to develop tools to monitor and counter disinformation online, and provides training for journalists, social media activists, and strategic communications experts. Her research has been featured in numerous media outlets, including the New York Times, Reuters, the Economist, the Hill, ProPublica and Business Insider.
