Dovilė Šukytė is the acting director of the Eastern Europe Studies Centre in Vilnius, Lithuania, which she joined in 2012. Prior to this, she served as a research fellow for the New European Democracies Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C. From 2015 to 2017 she served two terms at the Steering Committee of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum, during one of which she acted as a co-chair. From 2014 to 2016 she was a board member of the European Partnership for Democracy (Brussels). Šukytė is engaged in countering Russia’s malign influence both through analysis and on the ground activities in the Baltic states and the EU Eastern Partnership countries. She is a guest lecturer at Vytautas Magnus University (Kaunas, Lithuania), where she gained her bachelor’s degree in political science. She received a master’s degree in political science with focus on international relations and diplomacy from Vilnius University.
