Edward Lucas is a writer and consultant specializing in European and transatlantic security. His expertise also includes energy, cybersecurity, espionage, information warfare, and Russian foreign and security policy. He currently serves as senior vice president at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) and writes a weekly column in the London Times. Previously, he was senior editor at the Economist. In 1992, Mr. Lucas co-founded the Baltic Independent, an English-language weekly in Tallinn. He has also served as a foreign correspondent in several countries, and is a regular contributor to the BBC, CNN, NPR, and Sky News. Mr. Lucas holds an undergraduate degree from the London School of Economics (LSE).
