Biography

Katarina Kertysova currently works as a strategic analyst at The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies (HCSS). Prior to her time at HCSS, Ms. Kertysova was employed as a researcher at the Clingendael International Energy Programme, as well as in the private energy sector in Slovakia. She has worked as a researcher for the GLOBSEC Policy Institute, the Carnegie Moscow Center, and the United Nations Development Program, among others. Ms. Kertysova earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, after which she studied security studies at both Sciences Po Paris and the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).
