The Claims

The Facts

A

America

America is occupying Europeinstigating wars and corrupting the young. America is controlled by the British. Conspiracy theories – “things are not really what they look like” – are handy instruments to forward claims without providing any evidence.

Azov Sea, The

A setting selected for performing provocations against Russia On 25 November 2018, border patrol boats belonging to Russia’s FSB security service seized two small Ukrainian armoured artillery vessels and their crews after shooting at them, wounding several Ukrainian servicemen.  Russia argued that they were in Russian waters. However, a bilateral treaty between Russia and Ukraine, signed in 2003 and ratified by Russia in 2004, governs the use of the Kerch Strait and the Sea of Azov, which, according to the treaty, are considered to be the “internal waters” of both Russia and Ukraine.

B

Baltics, The

See “Fascism” The Baltic States are a frequent target for Russian disinformation efforts. The use of various types of narratives on “Nazism” or “Fascism” aims at questioning the legitimacy of their political leadership and institutions, and eventually, their independence.

Brexit

An instrument of the Deep State to distract the people from the conspiracy around the Skripal Case Conspiracy theories – “things are not really what they look like” – are handy instruments to forward claims without providing any evidence.

C

Chernobyl

The Rosatom has become a serious competitor on the International nuclear energy market. The HBO series on Chernobyl is an American attempt to destroy Rosatom’s reputation, as the Western companies cannot compete honestly. Conspiracy theories – “things are not really what they look like” – are handy instruments to forward claims without providing any evidence.

Civil Society

America’s instrument for global domination. Citizens are witless tools of the deep state and are lured into activism by America. The Civil Society is at the core of any democratic society. Citizens form groups, engaging in various matters, putting pressure on decision makers. EU, EU Member States, other countries and international bodies are supporting Civil Society organisations as a means of developing democracy.

Collapse

It’s a well-known fact that Europe is on the verge of collapse Any society has to address challenges. A challenge does not constitute a collapse.

Color Revolutions

The West instigates protests in stable and prosperous countries with benevolent leaders, who work for the benefit of the people, in order to forward US neo-colonial hegemony. Public protests, demonstrations, street actions, etc., are perfectly legal means for expressing discontent. Mass demonstrations In Ukraine, Georgia and other countries have appeared as consequence of citizens’ grievances with economic politics, corruption and mismanagement.

Conspiracy

BankersBureaucratsCatholicsFeminists, Gay LobbyJewsLiberalsMuslimsFasciststhe Rotschilds, Soros… The Puppet-Masters behind it all. Conspiracy theories – “things are not really what they look like” – are handy instruments to forward claims without providing any evidence.

Crimea

Belongs to us. Russia issued guarantees on Ukraine’s territorial integrity at several occasions since the break-up of the Soviet Union. The illegal annexation of Crimea in 2014 was not only a violation of International Law, but also a violation of Russia’s credibility as a signatory of international agreements

Criticism

See “Witch Hunt” Critical thinking, questioning and challenging authority are cornerstones of democracy

D

Deep State

No proof of a Deep State? Of course there isn’t! It’s the Deep State! You’re probably part of it! Conspiracy theories – “things are not really what they look like” – are handy instruments to forward claims without providing any evidence.

E

Elections

Good, if it is controlled by Kremlin. Election meddling is an attack on the core of the democracy. A link to examples of Russian election meddling can be found here.

Europe

Old Europe is in decay. Nothing left but gays, feminists and Muslims. A recurring pro-Kremlin narrative that has been used since Soviet times is that Europe, the West, is in moral decay. Currently, these claims occasionally assume xenophobic, homophobic and misogynistic character.
